After 4 years, we have made the hard decision to end our ZCast journey.
This has not been an easy decision, and we did not take it lightly.
ZCast started as an attempt to leverage our passion for the art-form of Podcasting, as a driver to build a better platform for audio content creators who care about content but are far from getting excited geeking out about microphone models, USB interfaces and mixer audio characteristics.
Over the years we have seen thousands of creators starting their way on our platform, growing from an idea to successful shows, with a few highlights like Missing Alissa who made it to the top 10 charts on iTunes, and “Hightec in Traffic” that become a show on a real radio station.
Unfortunately, startups are sometimes unpredictable and things change in rapid speed, at times for the best, but too many times for the worst.
This is, unfortunately, our final broadcast for ZCast.
ZCast will run in minimal capacity between now and the end of January 2019, and will then shut down indefinitely.
Since the service is now down, the following information is outdated. The service will continue to serve RSS feeds for a few more days and will then go down.
Although we can’t guarantee it, if you really need some help downloading your content before the last backend server is shut down, please contact us via the support email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
It has been a blast being a part of your podcasting journey
Don’t stop just because we did. The world needs more amazing podcasts.
Thank you for entrusting us with your art, and sorry for not being able to stay here for as long as we hoped.

Already missing you all,
